About Web2Application
Web2Application helps website owners launch Android and iOS apps without rebuilding their business from scratch.
Web2Application is a hybrid app builder. Each app is a real Android and iOS application. Android is written in Java and iOS in Swift. The tab bar, push notifications and deep links are native. The pages inside the app open in a WebView. Today those pages are your existing website. The same app is built to show pages from the Web2Application builder as that builder is released.
What we do
We build and maintain the app platform: the native Android and iOS app shell, the bottom tab bar, push notifications, deep links, the WordPress plugin, Firebase setup, the API, and the Members system. Our customers keep managing their website as usual, and the app shows that website to their users.
We keep the apps updated as Google and Apple change their requirements. App owners publish under their own Google Play and Apple developer accounts, so the app and its store listing stay theirs.
How we work
- Test before you pay. Every customer can create an app and install a real Android test APK before choosing a plan.
- Honest limits. We say clearly what a hybrid app is good for and when custom development is the better choice. See our review page with pros and cons.
- No store promises we cannot keep. We help prepare and submit apps. Google and Apple make the final approval decision.
