Google User Data (OAuth & Firebase Setup)

This section applies when you use Web2Application features that connect your Google account, including the automated Firebase push notification setup in the Web2Application dashboard and AI onboarding flow.

What Google user data we collect

When you click Connect Google or Setup Firebase push, and only after you approve the Google OAuth consent screen, we may collect and process:

  • Your Google account email address and basic profile information (via OpenID scopes: email, profile).
  • OAuth authorization tokens, including a refresh token, required to perform Firebase setup actions in your Google Cloud / Firebase account on your behalf.
  • Metadata created during setup in your Google account, such as Google Cloud project ID, Firebase Android app ID, and configuration files (for example google-services.json and a Firebase service account key) needed for push notifications for your app.

We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, contacts, or unrelated Google Cloud resources.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you request, specifically:

  • Creating or configuring a Firebase / Google Cloud project in your Google account for your mobile app.
  • Registering your Android app package in Firebase and downloading configuration required to build your app and send push notifications.
  • Creating a dedicated service account and enabling required APIs (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging) for your project.
  • Optionally granting limited project access to our app submission account so we can upload your signed APK to Google Play when you request that service.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, selling data, creating unrelated databases, or training AI/ML models.

How we store and protect Google user data

  • OAuth refresh tokens are stored on our servers in encrypted form (AES-256-CBC).
  • Access tokens are used temporarily to complete setup and are not stored longer than necessary.
  • Configuration files are stored securely on our platform and used only to operate push notifications and app builds for your application.
  • We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect stored data.

Sharing and disclosure of Google user data

We do not sell Google user data.

We may share or transfer Google user data only as necessary to provide the service you requested:

  • To Google APIs (Firebase Management API, Cloud Resource Manager, IAM, Service Usage) to perform setup in your Google account.
  • To our infrastructure providers (hosting) strictly for secure storage and operation of the Web2Application platform.
  • When required by law or to prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not disclose Google user data to third parties for their independent advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated purposes.

Retention and deletion

  • We retain Google OAuth connection data while your Web2Application account is active and the Firebase integration feature remains connected, so you can complete or repeat setup when needed.
  • You may revoke Web2Application’s access at any time in your Google Account security settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
  • You may request deletion of stored Google connection data and related Firebase configuration files by contacting [email protected]. We will delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Changes to Google data use

If we change how Web2Application accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request your consent again through the Google OAuth consent screen before new scopes are used.
